Care Show: Day 2 Review

At Clece Care Services, our commitment to excellence in care extends far beyond the walls of the homes we serve. It’s a journey of continuous learning, development, and community engagement. This year, The Care Show provided us with an unparalleled opportunity to embody this mission fully. As a leading UK Care at Home Provider, we understand the power of collaboration and innovation in enhancing the quality of care we deliver. The event was not just a meeting point but a melting pot of ideas, experiences, and inspirations from across the care sector.

The array of guest speakers at The Care Show was nothing short of inspirational. The session “Care Connections: mastering social media” with Amy Dobson from Hallmark Luxury Care Homes and Ben Miller from Milkwood Care Ltd, illuminated the significance of social media in connecting with our community and beyond. It underscored the necessity of being where our service users and their families are, engaging in meaningful conversations, and sharing the impactful stories of care that happen every day. Meanwhile, “Who Cares for Those Who Care?” brought to light the crucial aspect of supporting our caregivers. Shani Gray from NCL ICB, Sue Ann Nnamani from Priscilla Wakefield House, and Louise Keane from North Central London Training Hub shared invaluable insights into the well-being of those who give so much of themselves in the service of others.

The discussions on “Digital Marketing” with Adam James from Springup PR, “Looking Outstanding Retention of Staff” with industry leaders including James Rycroft and Ben Miller, and “The Future Workforce” with Thomas Vaughan and colleagues, provided us with fresh perspectives on engaging our team, retaining talent, and preparing for the future of care with innovative strategies and practices. Each session was a testament to the vibrant future of the care sector, fueled by passion, innovation, and a deep-seated commitment to excellence.

And let’s not forget the Miniature Shetland Therapy Ponies – a heartwarming highlight that reminded us all of the joy and therapeutic value animals bring to care settings. Their presence was a beautiful example of the innovative approaches to care that can make a significant difference in the lives of those we support.

Returning from The Care Show, we are more energized and committed than ever to our mission of providing the highest quality care service in the United Kingdom. We’re armed with new ideas, connections, and an even deeper understanding of the importance of our work. At Clece Care Services, we are driven by a passion for making a real difference in the lives of individuals and communities. Our journey at The Care Show was a pivotal step in our ongoing mission to lead with compassion, innovation, and excellence in care.
