UK Care Week: Day 2 Review

At Clece Care Services (CCS), we are always eager to share our journey in striving for excellence in home care provision. It is with great enthusiasm that we recount our experiences from the inspirational second day at the UK Care Week conference, held at the Birmingham National Exhibition Centre. This event, marked by a series of transformative discussions and presentations, left us invigorated and more committed to our mission of delivering unparalleled care within our communities.

Our gratitude extends to the array of guest speakers who challenged and inspired us to rethink our approach to care. Their insights into innovation and collaboration within the rapidly evolving sector of health and social care were not just enlightening but also urgently pertinent. The keynote session, delivered by the Minister of State for Social Care, Helen Whately MP, underscored the importance of our collective efforts in shaping the future of care. Additionally, the specialist dementia training provided by the Alzheimer’s Society offered us invaluable tools and understanding to enhance our services for those living with dementia.

The panel discussion on the National Care Awareness Survey findings, led by Susan Jones , Joyce Pinfield, and Sona, alongside the update from the Care Quality Commission, have both provided us with critical insights into the industry’s current standing and future directions. Moreover, Tracy Turner from Mental Health Safety UK’s session on Stress Defence Programme and Protocol has equipped us with vital strategies to safeguard the well-being of our care providers. These discussions not only reflect our ongoing commitment to training, development, and outreach but also reinforce our dedication to fostering a supportive and knowledgeable community of care providers.

At Clece Care Services, we remain unwavering in our commitment to excellence. This conference has further fuelled our passion and reinforced our resolve to continue providing the highest quality care service in the United Kingdom. We look forward to applying the rich learnings from this event in our day-to-day operations and to continuing our engagement with both internal and external stakeholders to shape a brighter, more compassionate future for care.
