On Friday 19th September 2025, communities across the UK will unite in a vibrant show of support for care workers by taking part in Wear It Orange Day. Organised by The Care Workers’ Charity, this national event is part of Professional Care Workers’ Week and aims to raise awareness and vital funds for those who dedicate their lives to caring for others.
Whether you’re a care provider, a business, a school, or simply someone who wants to show appreciation, this is your chance to make a difference by adding a splash of orange to your day.
Who are The Care Workers’ Charity?
The Care Workers’ Charity, is a UK-based organisation that supports care workers facing financial hardship or emotional challenges. It provides crisis grants, free mental health counselling, and training to help care workers manage stress and support each other. The charity also campaigns for better pay, working conditions, and recognition of care work as a skilled profession. Its goal is to ensure that no care worker faces tough times alone.
Clece Care Services is proud to partner with The Care Workers’ Charity to champion the wellbeing and resilience of care professionals across the UK. As part of our commitment to supporting our staff, we also provide access to the TELUS Well-being Portal, a confidential, 24/7 online platform that aligns with our values of promoting mental health and emotional support.
What Is Wear It Orange?
Wear It Orange is a fun and inclusive fundraising campaign that invites people to wear orange clothing, accessories, or even face paint to celebrate the compassion and commitment of care workers. Orange symbolises warmth, energy, and care—qualities that define the social care workforce.
