With 7,000 colleagues and 12,000 service users, Clece Care Services (CCS) are a leading UK Care at Home Provider. We are proud to announce our Social Value Quality Mark (SVQM) progress. This work underscores our unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional care while making a tangible positive impact on society. Across the UK, all CCS companies have achieved their SVQM Bronze Accreditation and actively working towards their Silver Accreditation.
Bronze marks the group’s meaningful first step. Our teams have designed a series of pledges to create, measure and report social value. Doing so, CCS have benefited from a clearer view of how our organisation creates impact for employees, communities and the environment. CCS moving to Silver is a significant achievement and will highlight our ability to gain insights across our organisation that enable us to benchmark our current impact. Establishing legitimate measurement methods and building upon our Bronze level commitments and pledges, we are already seeing the benefits of demonstrable evidence to present to our customers and shareholders.
At CCS, our social value pledges reflect the holistic approach to delivering services across 6 areas: Economic, Health and Wellbeing, Education and Skills, Social and Community, Employment and Volunteering, and Environmental. By focusing our resources and investments on these areas, we aim to nurture thriving communities, promote wellbeing, foster education and skills development, build resilient and inclusive societies, create meaningful employment opportunities, and safeguard our planet for future generations. These pledges are not just promises; they are actionable commitments that inform our service delivery, ensuring that every action we take contributes positively to the lives of those we touch.
Clece Care Services will target the delivery of social value activities in alignment with our SV pledges for the benefit of key stakeholders. These stakeholders are identified as those whom we can have a significant impact on:
Direct Stakeholders:
- Service Users
- Staff
Indirect Stakeholders:
- Suppliers
- Local Authority
- Landlords
- Charity Partners
CCS are calling on other providers to engage with SVQM to highlight a sector-wide dedication to the profound influence we exert on a wide range of stakeholders, including our employees, service users, local communities, businesses, and the environment at large.
We believe it is imperative that care providers stand untied to prioritise the wellbeing and development of all persons. SVQM is a key testament in this, highlighting a dedication to providing care that not only meets the highest quality standards but also enriches lives and communities. Our responsibility extends beyond the immediate needs of our service users to encompass a broader commitment to social value in the communities we operate within. By collectively doing so, we will set a new standard for care that is compassionate, inclusive, and socially responsible.
