After a successful 10-year career in the United Kingdom, positioning Clece Care Services as one of the main operators of social services in the country, our company has just reached a new milestone: the beginning of our journey in the British cleaning market through the acquisition of the company CK Facilities Management, completed on January 8.
Based in London, CK Facilities is a company highly specialised in the provision of cleaning and disinfection services in the healthcare field, being one of the reference providers of the NHS (National Health Service).
With more than 30 years of experience, CK Facilities currently offers high added value solutions to more than 100 clients, including some of the most important hospitals in London and the south of England:
- Guy’s Hospital (London): Located in the district of Southwark, next to London Bridge, it is one of the most advanced hospitals in the United Kingdom in cancer research and treatment, with the capacity to care for nearly 500 patients. It also has a large number of day centres.
- St Thomas’ Hospital (London): Founded in 1100 and located opposite Big Ben and Westminster Abbey, it is one of the oldest and most renowned hospitals in London. With a capacity of 1,000 beds, it has one of the largest Emergency Units in the United Kingdom.
- Royal Brompton Hospital (London): Located in the Chelsea district, in the west of London, it is an internationally recognised hospital for its specialisation in the field of surgery and cardiovascular treatments.
- North Bristol NHS Trust (Bristol): Located in the South West of England, it is one of the most technologically advanced hospitals in Europe, with robots that autonomously dispense medicines and medical supplies throughout the hospital and a pioneering robotic surgery unit in the United Kingdom.
- Kings College NHS Foundation Trust (London): Located in the Lambeth district, it is one of the largest hospitals in the south of London. It serves a population of 700,000 inhabitants and has one of the most advanced Neurology Units in the city.
With this important acquisition, Clece Care Services are consolidating our business model through the diversification of our activities and access to a specialised cleaning market valued at 9 billion pounds annually.
We look forward to what this new business chapter brings!
